Can I give now?
No, not until we're approved in 2027. Join the interest list on our Give page and we'll let you know.
Do both spouses need to give separately?
Yes. To claim $3,400 as a married couple, each spouse must make their own separate gift of up to $1,700.
Can I choose which student gets my gift?
No. The law does not allow gifts to be directed to a specific student.
Does giving affect my own family's scholarship eligibility?
No. Donating does not affect eligibility or award decisions.
For families
Who qualifies?
Kentucky K-12 students attending a private school, or homeschooling if the final federal rules allow, with household income up to 300% of their area's median income. Families receiving SNAP, TANF, WIC, Section 8 or SSI qualify automatically on income.
Is the scholarship taxable to families?
No, scholarships are tax-free to families.
When can we apply?
Applications open in 2027.
For schools
How is tuition paid?
Tuition scholarships are paid directly to the school.
Does my school need to sign up?
Families apply directly with us. We will coordinate enrollment and tuition confirmation with your office.
